Refund policy
Our commitment
Every piece from StudioIyla is handmade in small batches. Because each piece is one of a kind, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. We do, however, stand fully behind the quality of our work and will always make things right if something goes wrong in transit.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. To process your claim we will need:
- A photograph of the damaged item
- A photograph of the packaging it arrived in
- Your order number

Custom & bespoke commissions
Custom commissions are non-refundable once work has begun. If you wish to cancel before the piece enters production, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your order and we will issue a full refund.
Items not eligible for return
The following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Items where the reason is change of mind or preference
- Items that have been used, washed, or handled beyond initial inspection
- Custom or bespoke commissioned pieces once production has started
- Sale or discounted items (unless damaged on arrival)
Shipping costs for returns
In the event of a return approved by us (damaged or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping cost. We will send you a prepaid return label or reimburse your shipping cost on submission of a receipt.
Refund Timelines
Once your return request is approved and the item is received and inspected by us, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
Please note:
- Refunds for prepaid orders will be credited back to the original payment method
- Bank and payment gateway processing times may vary
- Refunds may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear in your account statement depending on your bank policies
- Customers will be notified via email once the refund has been successfully initiated
